Morristown, TN (Processing Facility)
This position will oversee quality related operations, activities as well as direct the work of 8-10 hourly QA Technicians. The QA Supervisor is responsible for insuring that the overall quality of the product produced during their shift meets company and customer standards. They plan work schedules, assign tasks, train new team members and demonstrate proper QA procedures as established by the company.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal poultry, sanitation and HACCP regulations and acting liaison between the FSIS and the facility when required.
Ensure successful implementation and maintenance of food safety systems including but not limited to HACCP, SSOPs and prerequisite programs for the facility
High School Diploma or equivalent with reading, writing, math and analytical skills required.
Four year Bachelor of Science or Arts in Food Science, Business Management or related field preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
Bilingual(English/Spanish)skills helpful but not required.
Proven record of employee supervision, training &
motivation, quality assurance & HACCP training.
Must be capable of communicating with diverse employment base and have good interpersonal(people)skills.
Must have 2-3 years Supervisor experience.
